User Data Deletion Policy

Recommend Global (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have control over your personal information. How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data through either of the following methods:

Option 1: Self-Service Account Deletion

  1. Log into your account
  2. Navigate to Settings
  3. Select “Delete Account”
  4. Follow the prompts to confirm deletion

Option 2: Email Request

You may alternatively request deletion by contacting us at: support@recommendglobal.com

Requests must be submitted from your registered email address or include sufficient information to verify your identity.

Identity Verification

To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized access, we may require you to verify your identity before processing your request. This may include confirming account details or providing additional identification where necessary.

Processing Timeframes

  • We aim to process all valid data deletion requests within 7–10 business days.
  • In some cases (e.g., complex requests), processing may take up to 30 days, in line with applicable laws.
  • You will be notified once your request has been completed.

What Happens When Your Data is Deleted

Upon successful processing of your request:

  • Your account will be permanently deactivated or deleted.
  • Personal data associated with your account will be erased from our active systems.
  • You will no longer be able to access your account or recover your data.

Data Retention Exceptions

We may retain certain information where required or permitted by law, including:

  • Compliance with legal, regulatory, or taxation obligations.
  • Fraud prevention, security, or dispute resolution.
  • Enforcement of our Terms and Conditions.

Any retained data will be securely stored and only used for these specific purposes.

Third-Party Data and Integrations

If you have connected third-party services (such as Google, Meta, or Xero), deletion of your Recommend Global account will not automatically delete data held by those third parties. You will need to manage data deletion directly with those providers.
